A curator for all things unexpected, Hayden is a fearless designer who does not rest on the "trendy" or the mundane. He curates his interiors to reflect his client's past, present, and future. A SCAD alumnus, his work ethic revolves around an execution in the highest quality while embracing an original perspective.
While working at the SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah, GA, he personally installed exhibitions alongside artists and curators such as Nari Ward, Andre Leon Talley, Xu Bing, Oscar de la Renta, Andre 3000, LI Hongbo, Reshad Newsome, and Vivienne Westwood. However, it was under Andre Leon Talley where Hayden recognized that through lighting, collaboration of mediums, and balance of statement /supporting works, that a space could be transformed into an experience. Hayden integrates this same concept of an experience into all of his interiors. Incorporating antiques, handcrafted furnishings, works of arts, and signature features, he creates a rich history for his clients to embrace.
A classically trained and exhibiting artist, Hayden treats his interiors with similar methods as found in painting. The anchor for each design is a strong but alluring composition. As with every artist, he understands not only the ascetic value of each design, but also the internal construct as well. Working as Construction Coordinator during seasons 3 of Master's of Flip (Music City Fix in the USA), he orchestrated the flow between architecture, construction, design, and filming. Hayden is at the helm of every VSI design from start to finish, overseeing ascetics to mechanics.
Since founding curator in late 2017, Hayden has been recognized for interiors that are exceptionally unique in various styles. Hayden is a large supporter of local talent and small businesses. He collaborates with talented individuals who understand their trade in an distinct voice.
